<> Congressman Dan Kildee Introduces Congressional Resolution to Protect Great Lakes from Threat of Nuclear Waste - Aboard the Appledore IV schooner on the Saginaw River, Congressman Dan Kildee (D-MI) announced a congressional resolution he will be introducing to protect Michigan's Great Lakes from the threat of nuclear waste that Canada is proposing to permanently store underground less than a mile from Lake Huron.

Toledo, OH Urgent water notice! - 8/2/14. Chemists testing water at Toledo's Collins Park Water Treatment Plant had two sample readings for microcystin in excess of the recommended "DO NOT DRINK" 1 microgram per liter standard.  This notice applies to ALL customers of Toledo water.

  • IJC Statement On Toledo Water Crisis - The International Joint Commission (IJC) today expressed empathy for Toledo area residents affected by water contamination caused by toxins from excessive algae growth in Lake Erie.
