<> Army Corps OKs money to address Great Lakes' 'hole in the dike' - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has set aside a small amount of money this year to install water-slowing structures on the St. Clair River to try and decrease the effects of evaporation. . .

<> Congresswoman fights against Lake Erie dumping - Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge has sent a letter to the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, asking it to reject a proposal by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to discharge dredged material into the open waters of Lake Erie.
